Jio Financial Services Share Gains Over 8%, Stock Soars Above Listing Price

Shares of Jio Financial Services witnessed a rally of over 8% in trade today on both BSE and NSE. Current market price of Jio Financial Services share on BSE is Rs 264.60 per share with intraday surge of 7.87% at the time of writing the story. The stock's current market price on NSE at 11:16 am is Rs 263.70 per share with intraday surge of 7.57%. JFS shares have now soared above the listing price of Rs 262 per share.

Jio Financial Services shares opened at Rs 254.00 apiece on BSE, reached the day's high of Rs 267.00 apiece, and day's low of Rs 249.00 per share.

Jio Financial Services has a market capitalisation of Rs 1,67,250.21 crore. Its 52-week high price on BSE is Rs 278.20 per share and 52-week low price is Rs 205.15 per share, respectively. In last 1-week only on BSE, Jio Financial Services shares rallied 23.69% when Sensex soared just 0.62%. Jio Financial Services shares witnessed a gain of 3.99% in last 2-weeks.
Jio Financial Services shares hit upper circuit on September 1, 2023, August 31, August 30, and August 29 on BSE. It witnessed spurt in volume by 2.21 times on August 31.

Recently, BSE in a circular stated it increased the price band for the stock to 20% from earlier 5%. Soon after the revision in circuit limit for Jio Financial Services, it is likely that it would soon be excluded from NSE indices including Nifty this week.

Earlier last month, Jio Financial Services was listed on the bourse and begun trading at Rs 262 per share, almost the same as its discovered price of Rs 261.85 apiece. When it was listed, io Financial Services Chairman KV Kamath said, "Jio Financial will be an important player in India's financial services sector. JFS will seek to optimise all that India provides."

Jio Financial Services (JFS), which was demerged from Reliance Industries earlier last month, was listed on Monday (August 21, 2023) on the bourses.
