Jio Launches Happy New Year 2026 Prepaid Recharge Plans with 5G Data, Unlimited Calling, SMS, OTT & More

Reliance Jio, India's leading telecom operator has launched its "Happy New Year 2026" recharge plans for prepaid users. The new Jio plans include Flexi Pack, Super Celebration Monthly Plan and Hero Recharge Annual Plan aim to provide not only data and calling benefits but also artificial intelligence (AI) services and over-the-top (OTT) entertainment.

Jio Hero Recharge Annual Plan

The Hero Recharge Annual Plan is the premium offering among the new plans, priced at Rs 3,599 with a validity of 365 days (12 months). It includes:

• Unlimited 5G data access with 2.5GB data per day
• Unlimited voice calls
• 100 SMS per day
• Subscriptions to JioTV and JioAICloud platforms

In addition to the above benefits, the Hero Annual Plan provides free 18-month access to Google's Gemini Pro Plan, valued at Rs 35,100, for users aged 18 and above. This makes it one of the few prepaid plans in India to integrate AI-driven services with telecom and entertainment offerings.

Jio Super Celebration Plan

The Super Celebration Plan, priced at Rs 500 for 28 days, is designed for users seeking a mix of data, calling, and OTT entertainment. Key benefits include:

• 2GB of data per day
• Unlimited 5G data access
• Unlimited voice calls
• 100 SMS per day

The plan also offers subscriptions to a wide range of OTT platforms, including Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Sun NXT, Kanchha Lannka, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, Hoichoi, FanCode, JioTV, Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition (PVME), JioHotstar, Sony LIV and Zee5.

Similar to the Hero Annual Plan, the Super Celebration Plan comes with JioAICloud subscription and free 18-month access to Gemini Pro Plan, worth Rs 35,100 for users aged 18 and above.

Jio Flexi Pack

For users seeking a more affordable and flexible option, Jio has launched the Flexi Pack at Rs 103 with 28-day validity. The plan includes 5GB of total data and allows users to select one OTT entertainment pack from Hindi, International, or Regional categories.

The available entertainment packs are:

Hindi Pack includes JioHotstar, Zee5, Sony LIV

International Pack includes JioHotstar, FanCode, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+

Regional Pack Includes JioHotstar, Sun NXT, Kanccha Lannka, Hoichoi

Unlike the Hero Annual and Super Celebration Plans, the Flexi Pack does not clearly mention unlimited calling or daily SMS benefits, nor does it include access to the Gemini Pro subscription.
