Jio Vyapar, Krishi, To Health IQ: Reliance's Artificial Intelligence Bet for 'AI for Everyone'

Expanding its investment in artificial intelligence, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) announced multiple AI initiatives on Friday, June 19. RIL will commission its first 120 MW AI compute infrastructure by the end of 2026 and also operationalise NVIDIA GB300 infrastructure in the country, RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced at the company's Annual General Meeting, while emphasising its commitment to building "AI for Everyone".

"I firmly believe that India should not be a mere consumer of AI created elsewhere. It must become a creator, adopter, and global leader in AI. This is why we announced Reliance Intelligence last year as our newest growth engine," said Mukesh Ambani at the RIL AGM.

Reliance Jio AI-led Services

Reliance Jio is building several AI-led services for a wide range of sectors, including farming, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, etc.

"Reliance Intelligence is building trusted, affordable, and multilingual AI services designed to be accessible in 22 Indian languages: JioBharatIQ, AI Vyapar, JioHealthIQ, JioLearnIQ, and JioKrishiIQ. Each service is designed around one simple principle: AI must be easy to use, trusted to rely on, and affordable for all," said Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited.

AI Vyapar

Jio's AI Vyapar service will help small merchant and businesses improve productivity and services. It will also increase their competence and efficiency that may help in reducing the input and service cost.

JioHealth IQ, JioLearn IQ

JioHealth IQ will offer services related to AI-backed healthcare services and personalised support to customers. Another initiative of the company, JioLearn IQ will ensure that children can get access to education in their own language.

JioKrishi IQ

The AI service for farmers will offer advanced support and information related to farming pattern, weather update and resource management to farmers for better crop selection and management of their yield.

Jio's AI Platform For Every Indian

Jio is also in the process of building a global AI platform that will not just cater to English language. "Jio is building AI natively in Indian languages. Bharat ka AI Bhartiya Bhasha mei bolega. Bharat ke dilon ko jodega. Bharat ki tasveer aur takdeer badlega. What we are building is AI for India. AI by India. AI that will one day serve the world," added Akash Ambani.
