JSW Steel Q3 Results: Integrated steel producer, JSW Steel, on Friday, January 23, reported a whopping 235% year-on-year jump in its net consolidated profit for the third quarter of financial year 2025-26. The sharp jump in JSW Steel Q3 profit was driven by high sales volume.
JSW Steel shares closed 1.31% lower at Rs 1169.35 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 2,85,959.16 crore on Friday. The stock had dipped to an intraday low of Rs 1165.55 per share and an intraday high of Rs 1193.30 per share.

JSW Steel Q3 Result: Net Profit
JSW Steel had reported a net consolidated profit of Rs 2,410 crore in Q3FY26, which was up around 235% on a year-on-year basis (YoY) from Rs 719 crore reported in Q3FY25. The company's net profit (attributable to owners of the company) stood at Rs 2,139 crore.
JSW Steel Q3 Result: Net Revenue
JSW Steel' net consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 45,991 crore, which was up 11% from Rs 41,378 crore reported in the year-ago period.
JSW Steel Q3 EBITDA Margins
The company had reported an EBITDA of Rs 6,496 crore during the quarter under review and adjusted EBITDA stood at Rs 6,620 crore. JSW Steel's net debt to equity stood at 0.92x and net debt to EBITDA stood at 2.91x.
JSW Steel Production, Sales Volume
JSW Steel's net consolidated crude steel production for Q3FY26 stood at 7.48 million tonnes, up 6% on an annual basis driven by rampup of the JVML-Vijayanagar project. However the company's production fell 5% on a sequential basis due to shutdown of Blast Furnace3 (BF-3) at Vijaynagar.
The company had clocked its highest ever sales volume at 7.64 million tonnes, up 14% on a year-on-year basis, as per the company's press release. The sharp uptick in sales volume was driven by strong domestic demand for the metal. Domestic sales stood at 6.59 million tonnes, an increase of 10% YoY. Exports at 0.84 million tonnes, increased by 53% YoY, contributing 11% to the sales from the Indian operations for Q3 FY26. Retail sales volumes were up 12% YoY.
JSW Steel Subsidiaries' Performance
During the quarter, the Bhushan Power & Steel Limited (BPSL) registered crude steel production of 1 million tonnes and a sales volume of 0.98 million tonnes. JSW Vijayanagar Metallics Ltd (JVML) reported crude steel production of 1.18 million tonnes, reaching the rated capacity after commissioning all balance facilities in Q2 FY26. During the quarter, JSW Steel Coated Products reported 1.16 million tonnes volume and sales volume of 1.18 million tonnes.
