Gold Rate Today: The prices of gold saw a humongous jump on Saturday, November 29, ensuring that gold prices conclude the month on a record-high mark. Silver rates also followed the trend, by showcasing a massive jump today. The sky-high jump took the 24 karat gold rates close to Rs 1.3 lakh mark in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and other Indian cities.

The massive rally in gold and silver rates today has come as a major setback for investors and retail jewellery buyers who were planning to make purchases over the weekend. Here are the latest updates on gold rates in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Bangalore Gold Rate Today

The price of 24 karat gold in Bangalore increased by a whopping Rs 136 per gram to Rs 12,983 per gram. The rate of 22 karat gold in Bangalore surged by Rs 125 per gram to Rs 11,900 per gram. The price of 18 karat gold in Bangalore jumped by Rs 103 per gram to Rs 9,737 per gram. Saturday's jump in gold rates took 24 karat prices up by Rs 13600 per 100 gram to Rs 12,98,300.

Chennai Gold Rate Today

The price of 24 karat gold in Chennai increased by Rs 153 per gram to Rs 13069 per gram. Likewise, the rate of 22 karat gold in Chennai jumped by Rs 140 per gram to Rs 11,980 per gram. The rate of 18 karat gold in Chennai surged by Rs 120 per gram to Rs 9,995 per gram.

Hyderabad Gold Rate Today

The rate of 24 karat gold in Hyderabad surged by Rs 136 per gram to Rs 12,982 per gram. The rate of 22 karat gold in Hyderabad jumped by Rs 125 per gram to Rs 11,900 per gram. Likewise, the price of 18 karat gold in Hyderabad rallied by Rs 103 per gram to Rs 9,737 per gram on Saturday.

"This increase in gold prices can be attributed to both increased demand for safe-haven assets and the anticipated increase in activity, particularly among traditional buyers during the wedding season. Gold prices have shown a gradual increase over the past few weeks, indicating that market participants remain moderately optimistic for ongoing increases in gold prices," explained Aksha Kamboj, Vice President, India Bullion & Jewellers Association (IBJA) and Executive Chairperson, Aspect Global Ventures.

Silver Rate Today in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai

Silver rate today also saw a sharp jump, with prices increasing significantly in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and other Indian cities. Silver prices in Bangalore, aka Bengaluru, increased to Rs 185 per gram and to Rs 1,85,000 per kilogram. Whereas, the rate of silver in Hyderabad and Chennai surged to Rs 192 per gram and to Rs 1,92,000 per kilogram respectively.
