Jump in Gold Rate Today Continues for Second Day as US Rate Hike Concerns Weaken
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in India. Silver is currently priced at Rs 250 per gram, while the rate stands at Rs 2,50,000 per kilogram.
The latest uptick in gold comes as concerns over a possible US interest rate hike next month ease. Investors are now awaiting the minutes of the Federal Reserve's latest meeting for further clues about the central bank's monetary policy direction. Softer expectations for higher interest rates are supporting demand for gold, as lower-rate prospects can increase the appeal of the non-yielding precious metal.

"Recent US inflation data has been softer, as has employment and consumer activity, reducing expectations that the FED will need to tighten policy further. That has put some pressure on the USD and helped support golds latest move higher towards $4,400.
However, monetary policy is only one factor to consider. Geopolitical risks remain, particularly around the US and Iran, keeping safe-haven demand in focus," said Ross Maxwell, Global Strategy Operations Lead, VT Markets.
