Kailash Mansarovar Yatra: One of the most significant pilgrimages for Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, will be carried out for the first time in June after a long gap of five years. The popular pilgrimage, which is also adored for its scenic beauty, will be held on two different routes.

The pilgrimage was last held before the COVID-19 pandemic and never resumed due to multiple reasons. One of the routes will incljude Lipulekh Pass, whereas, another route will include Nathula Pass. For those people who are interested in planning for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in 2025, here are all the details about the pilgrimage.

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025: What Will Be The Route?

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra will be held via two different routes. According to news agency PTI, the yatra will commence from Delhi on June 30. There will be five groups of 50 people each and a total of 250 devotees.

The first batch of Kailah Mansarovar Yatra will enter China via Lipulekh Pass on July 10 and the last group will depart from China to India on August 22.

Kailash Yatra 2025: What Will Be Duration of Travel?

Each Kailash Yatra 2025 pilgrim will travel for a duration of 22 days, according to PTI. Kailash Yatra will start from Delhi. Later, pilgrims will have to stay one night in Tanakpur in Champawat district of Uttarakhand, one night in Dharchula in Pithoragarh district, two nights in Gunji and two nights in Nabhidang, and then enter Taklakot in China.

After arriving at Kailash, passengers will now have to depart from China. During the second half phase of the journey, they will be required to stay one night in Bundi of Pithoragarh district, one night in Chaukori and one night in Almora, he will reach Delhi.

Kailash Yatra 2025: Who Is Eligible For Yatra?

As per the details available on the Ministry of External Affairs official website, interested people have to meet the following eligibility criteria:
-Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
-It is mandatory for applicants to hold a valid passport.
-Their age should be minimum of 18 years to maximum 70 years, as on 01 January of the current year.
-The applicant's Body Mass Index (BMI) should be 25 or less.
-The applicant must be physically fit and medically healthy for undertaking the Yatra for religious purpose.
-As per MEA's website, foreign nationals are not eligible to apply, except OCI card holders.

Kailash Yatra Fee

Applicants are required to pay Rs 5,000 to KMVN based on the route for the Yatra at the time of confirmation, as per the latest information available on MEA's official website. Then they have to pay the balance amount of Rs 30,000 before departure to Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam Ltd. (KMVN). Then they are required to paya total of Rs 8,000 for Chinese visa fee, medical examinations, etc. Porter charges will include Rs 12,189.

As per the latest available information on MEA, no private agency conduct the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra on the routes via Lipulekh Pass via Uttarakhand and Nathu La Pass via Sikkim. Kailash Yatra includes numerous touristic and religious places with scenic and mesmerizing beauty, providing splendid views of mountain peaks and famed flora of Kumaon region of Uttarakhand and Sikkim which is unique to these areas.
