The film has shown remarkable strength at the box office since its release. According to Sacnilk, in just 10 days, Kantara Chapter 1 has collected Rs 396.65 crore (India net), setting new benchmarks for a mythological drama.

  • Day 6 (Tuesday): Rs 34.25 crore
  • Day 7 (Wednesday): Rs 25.25 crore

Kantara: Chapter 1 Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam Version Earnings

The film has earned Rs 130 crore from the Hindi version, making it the top contributor among all languages as per Sacnilk. This is followed by Rs 125.7 crore from the original Kannada version, and Rs 72.05 crore from Telugu. The Tamil version brought in Rs 38.75 crore, while the Malayalam version added Rs 31.65 crore to the overall total.

On its tenth day alone, the film earned around Rs 38 crore across all languages, with the Hindi version contributing approximately Rs 14-15 crore.

It has also outperformed other major titles like Coolie, Saiyaara, and War 2 in domestic earnings. While it still trails Saiyaara and Chhaava in global earnings, it has secured the third spot in worldwide collections among Indian films this year.
