Karnataka Power Cut Alert: If you are planning a relaxed weekend at home in Bengaluru or Mysuru, be prepared for possible electricity disruptions. Several areas across the two cities are scheduled to witness power cuts on Saturday, June 6, due to maintenance and infrastructure-related works being carried out by CHESCOM and BESCOM.

Here are latest update on Mysuru power cut today, and power outage in Bengaluru.

Power Cut Today in Mysuru

There will be complete power outage in major areas of Mysuru for nearly 8 hours on Saturday, June 6, reported Network 18 citing CHESCOM officials. Due to emergency maintenance work which is being carried out at the 66/11 KV Dattagalli Power Distribution Station, power outage began at 10 am and is likely to remain till 6 pm on June 6. The power supply will be completely disconnected during the time.

Residents living in areas like Dattagalli 3rd Phase, Andolana Circle, Kanakadasa Nagar, Aditya Circle, Somnath Nagar, Mahalakshmi Layout, Kergalli, Ramakrishna Nagar, R.T. Nagar, Lingambudi Palya, University Layout, Vasu Layout, R.K. Nagar K Block, Muda Employees Layout, etc will reportedly face power cut today.

In addition to these locations, Muganahundi, Nagarthahalli, Devagalli, Ballahalli, Anagalli, Tibbayanahundi, Beerihundi and surrounding rural areas may also see power supply disruption. The Chescom Chief Engineer's Office and Healthy City areas will also remain without power, as per the media report.

Bengaluru Power Cut Today

BESCOM has not issued any official confirmation regarding power cut in Bengaluru. But the power distribution company confirmed power supply disruption in key localities on social media platform X.
There is a power supply disruption in key Bengaluru areas due to the interruption of 66/11KV Mathikere MUSS F4 Feeder Maintenance.

The mentioned feeder supplies electricity to areas like Aswathnagar, Dollars Colony, parts of the 80 Feet Road (RMV), Poojari Layout, and sections of the AECS Layout in Bengaluru.

In a separate X post, BESCOM confirmed power supply disruption due to transformer replacement work of 66/11KV Madhuranagara MUSS F4 Feeder.

The mentioned feeder supplies electricity to Madhuranagara (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Stage) neighborhoods and surrounding areas in Gunjur, Bengaluru

"In reference to your post, As of now there is an interruption 66/11KV Madhuranagara MUSS F4 Feeder Transformer Replacement Work Power supply will be restored @ 14:00 Hrs (Approximately)."

Bengaluru Power Cut Today: When Will Power Supply Resume?

The power supply is expected resume by 2 pm, as per BESCOM post on X. "In reference to your post, As of now there is an interruption 66/11KV Mathikere MUSS F4 Feeder Maintenance Power supply will be restored @ 14:00 Hrs (Approximately)," read BESCOM post on X.
