John Brittas said the disruption is tied to the ongoing conflict situation in West Asia.

Kerala LPG supply concerns raised

Kerala LPG supply risks as LPG use stays near universal

John Brittas said Kerala depends heavily on LPG for daily cooking needs. John Brittas said LPG use in the state is almost universal. John Brittas said this makes Kerala more vulnerable than areas using mixed fuels. John Brittas said any shortage could affect more than homes. John Brittas said it could also disrupt several sectors in the state.

John Brittas said even short breaks in supply chains could affect ordinary households and public life. John Brittas said Kerala \"occupies a uniquely sensitive position\" on this issue. John Brittas said the impact could spread quickly due to high dependence. John Brittas said other regions still use alternative fuels. John Brittas said Kerala’s reliance makes the risk more direct.

Kerala LPG supply and commercial LPG refilling restrictions

John Brittas said \"It would be particularly helpful if appropriate relaxations or special arrangements for Kerala could be considered with respect to the restrictions currently affecting commercial LPG refilling, so that the functioning of essential services, food establishments, and institutional facilities in the state remains uninterrupted,\" Brittas said. John Brittas said these steps could limit disruption across key services.

John Brittas said the concerns were also shared through official channels by Kerala minister G R Anil. John Brittas said the communication asked the minister to address the issue with urgency. John Brittas urged Hardeep Singh Puri to look into the situation on priority. John Brittas said early intervention could help prevent shortages and keep distribution stable.
