Delhi Businessman Found Dead in Uttar Pradesh; Former Employers Under Investigation for Kidnapping

A 35-year-old businessman named Sagar, who was allegedly abducted from Tilak Nagar in West Delhi, was discovered dead with multiple injuries in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. The police suspect that business rivalry with his former employers, who are also involved in the hotel leasing industry, might be the reason behind the incident. Sagar had recently left his previous job to start his own venture.

Business Rivalry Suspected

Sources indicate that Sagar's departure from his former employers last month led to tensions. These ex-employers are now the main suspects in the case. Police teams are actively searching for them. Sagar's family had already raised concerns about these individuals, prompting an abduction case to be filed on March 30.

The victim's body was found with several injuries, including a head wound. The police have yet to apprehend the suspects, who were familiar with Sagar. On March 27, a murder case was registered at Kandla Police Station in Shamli for an unidentified body, later confirmed to be Sagar.

Police Investigation and Family Involvement

Deputy Commissioner of Police Vichitra Veer stated that Sagar's family reported he left his hotel but never returned home. They suspected certain individuals and feared for his safety. Consequently, an abduction case was lodged at Tilak Nagar Police Station. The police formed multiple teams to track down the suspects using both technical and manual methods.

Sagar's family remained informed throughout the investigation to ensure swift action on any leads, as they were acquainted with the suspects for a long time. Despite detaining several people for questioning, the primary suspects remain elusive. Non-bailable warrants have been issued against them.

Efforts to Locate Suspects

The police are reviewing CCTV footage and confirmed that Sagar left his workplace but did not reach home. A team from Tilak Nagar Police Station, along with Sagar's family members, was sent to Shamli once it was confirmed that the body found there was his. The investigation continues as authorities strive to locate the main suspects.

While many individuals have been questioned during the investigation, the primary suspects have not yet been found. The police continue their efforts to track them down and bring justice for Sagar's tragic death.
