Shares of construction major L&T Ltd. in Thursday's trade surged almost 4% to record day's high of Rs. 1339.50 per share on the BSE as against previous close of Rs. 1294.25.
Amid slowing economy and state elections, L&T's operating profit came in lower than estimates as execution of order remained at a slow pace. Despite this the company maintained revenue growth guidance and order inflow guidance at 12-15 and 10-12%, respectively.
Last, the shares of L&T quoted at Rs. 1327.40 or Rs. 33.15, up 2.56%.
