Maharashtra government started the release of the Ladki Bahin Yojana instalment on Tuesday, August 25, and the registered beneficiaries will receive the instalment by this weekend.

"On the backdrop of Raksha Bandhan, the technical process to distribute the July month's honor fund to all eligible beneficiaries under the Chief Minister My Beloved Sister scheme has been started from today. In the next 2-3 days, this honor fund will be credited to the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of all eligible beneficiaries," read a social media post by Aditi S Tatkare, Minister for Women and Child Development GOM.

Ladki Bahin Yojana eligible beneficiaries can check their registered bank account status to find out the status of the July instalment transfer. They must first check their registered telephone number for any updates on the amount credited to their account.

If they are unable to get details of Ladki Bahin Yojana instalment, then they must visittheir nearest branch and check the account balance.

It is Maharashtra government's flagship scheme to benefit the eligible women of the state. Under the scheme, the government provides Rs 1,500 monthly assistance to eligible registered women beneficiaries.

Ladki Bahin Yojana is a woman welfare scheme, where the Maharashtra government offers monthly financial assistance of R 1,500 to eligible women. The scheme was launched as an extension of Madhya Pradesh's Ladli Bahin Yojana scheme, which was launched by the state government in 2023.
