Ladki Bahin Yojana Instalment Update: In a major relief for lakhs of eligible beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, the Maharashtra government has started disbursing the May instalment through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Eligible women beneficiaries are expected to receive the Rs 1,500 financial assistance in their linked bank accounts by Monday, June 15.
When Will Ladki Bahin Yojana Beneficiaries Receive Instalment?
The state government began releasing the Ladki Bahin Yojana beneficiaries' instalments from Friday, June 12, and the process is likely to be concluded by Monday, June 15, as per a social media post by Monica Rajeev Rajale, Shievgaon Pathardi Constituency MLA.

"Under the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, the honour fund for May will be credited to the bank accounts of eligible sisters between June 12 and 15," according to a social media post by Rajale on X in Marathi.

Ladki Bahin Yojana eligible beneificiaries can check their registered bank account status to find out the status of May month instalment transfer. They must first check their registered telephone number for any update on amount credited to their account.
If they are unable to get details of Ladki Bahin Yojana instalment, then they must visit
their nearest branch and check the account balance.
Maharashtra Govt Removes 80 Lakh Beneficiaries From Ladki Bahin Yojana Scheme
Earlier, it was reported that the Maharashtra government has removed nearly 80 lakh beneficiaries from the scheme following the mandatory e-KYC verification process. After the revision of the beneficiary list, only around 1.68 crore women remain eligible to receive the monthly financial assistance under the flagship welfare scheme. The recent development came as lakhs of beneficiaries await the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana instalment for this month.
The e-KYC process for the Maharashtra government's flagship scheme was meant to identify ineligible and unverified applicants of Ladki Bahin Yojana scheme. The e-KYC process for the scheme was earlier supposed to end in November 2025. But the government extended the deadline which officially ended on April 30, as per moneycontrol report.

It is Maharashtra government's flagship scheme to benefit the eligible women of the state. Under the scheme, the government provides Rs 1,500 monthly assistance to eligible registered women beneficiaries.
