Lenskart Q1 Result Review

Lenskart showcased sustained growth momentum in the June quarter, which is in line with 34% annual jump in consolidated revenue. The company's Q1FY27 performance was driven by healthy volume growth and premiumisation. The company's India business remained resilient, led by robust SSSG and continued store additions.

Lenskart has built strong moats in a difficult-to-scale category through a centralised, highly automated manufacturing facility and logistics network, strong backward integration, large omnichannel presence and a house-of-brands architecture, according to the Motilal Oswal report.

"We raise our product margin assumptions by ~50bp for FY27/28E, led by rampup in inhouse frame manufacturing, resulting in ~4-5% upgrades in our FY27-28E pre-IndAS EBITDA," noted the brokerage in its report.

Lenskart Share Price Recommendation

The brokerage revised its target price upwards to Rs 705 per share with a 'Buy' recommendation. "We reiterate BUY with a revised TP of INR705, based on 48x Sep'28E blended pre-IndAS EBITDA."

Lenskart Q1 Result Recap

Lenskart Solutions reported a sharp rise in quarterly profit for Q1 FY27, helped by stronger operating revenue and improved earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation. The eyewear services provider posted a profit after tax of Rs 228 crore for the quarter, up 182.3% from Rs 61 crore in the same period of the previous financial year.

The performance indicates a stronger start to FY27 for the company, which operates in India's fast-growing organised eyewear market. Revenue from operations increased 33.6% year-on-year to Rs 2,714 crore, compared with Rs 1,894 crore in Q1 FY26. The numbers suggest that demand, store-led sales and digital channels continued to support growth during the quarter.
