LPG Cylinder Prices Aug 1, 2023: 19 Kg Cylinder Price Reduced, Check Latest Prices Here

Leading state-run oil marketing companies have slashed the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders by Rs 99.75 per cylinder. The new rates have become effective from August 1, 2023. After the revision in commercial LPG gas cylinders, now a 19 kg commercial cylinder will cost Rs 1680 in Delhi effective from Tuesday.

Meanwhile, prices of 19 kg LPG cylinders have also been revised in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai.

Retail prices of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder in three metropolitan cities namely Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai will be Rs 1640.50, Rs 1,802.50, and 1,852.50, respectively from August 1, 2023.

It is worth noting that the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder witnessed revision on July 4, 2023. After revision in the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinder in July, the cost was Rs 1780 in Delhi for 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders.

The state-backed oil marketing companies on July 4, 2023 increased the rates of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 7/cylinder. Earlier this year in June, prices of commercial LPG cylinders witnessed a decline by Rs 83.5. It is worth mentioning that domestic LPG cylinders prices remain unchanged in June.

It is important to note that the prices of 14.2 kg LPG cylinders did not see any revision since April 2023. Cooking gas cylinders prices for domestic purposes witnessed last revision in prices on March 1, 2023. The price of a non-subsidised 14.2 kg LPG cylinder is Rs 1103 in Delhi, Rs 1129 in Kolkata, Rs 1102.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 1118.50 in Chennai.
