LPG Cylinder Prices Raised For June Month

As the economy is all set to unlock with some restrictions in place, price of LPG cooking gas price has been increased. A non-subsidised LPG cylinder will be priced higher by Rs. 11.50 per cylinder in the national capital.

"For the month of June, 2020, there has been an increase in international prices of LPG. Due to increase in the prices in international market, the RSP (retail selling price) of LPG in Delhi market will be increased by Rs.11.50 per cylinder," IOC, India's largest refiner, said in a late Sunday night statement.

LPG Cylinder Prices Raised For June Month

The price of LPG gas is revised on a month on basis depending on the international benchmark rate as also the exchange rate of US dollar and rupee.

The demand has been picking up and amid work from home and other such regulations amid the pandemic crisis there has been an uptick in the demand for cooking gas.

For the previous month of May, the prices were slashed sharply from Rs. 744 per cylinder to Rs. 581.5 in the national capital.
