In Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, LPG cooking gas cylinder costs even higher at Rs. 897.5. Note the hike has been brought about in case of non-subsidised gas cylinder.

Usually, oil marketing companies revise LPG rates on a monthly basis on the first of every month. Notably the price of cooking gas cylinder in Delhi at the start of the year 2021 was at barely Rs. 694 and now after a gap of some 8 months has increased by almost Rs. 165 per gas cylinder.
