Gas Cylinder Booking Rules: Amidst major rules for refills, the government is encouraging booking LPG cylinders through online methods to avoid visiting distributors. There has been a massive surge in online booking for Indane Gas, Bharat Gas and HP Gas. The government has given high priority to LPG allocation amidst the latest supply shortage crisis while, alongside, taking measures to ensure unnecessary booking of LPG.

LPG Gas Cylinder Booking Rules Update:

As per latest update of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, the government is making all efforts to ensure availability of Petrol, Diesel and LPG, and citizens are advised to avoid panic purchase of petrol and diesel as well as unnecessary booking of LPG.

"For LPG, citizens are requested to use digital modes for booking of LPG cylinders and avoid visiting LPG distributors unless necessary," the ministry said on April 5.

Data showed that since the ongoing Middle East crisis, the online booking for LPG cylinders has increased to 95% by end of last week. To prevent diversion at the distributor level, Delivery Authentication Code (DAC) based deliveries have been increased from 53% (Feb-2026) to 90% yesterday.

LPG Gas Cylinders Booking Rules Of 45-Days & 25-Days:

Furthermore, the government has already implemented several rationalization measures on both the supply and demand side, including enhancing refinery production, increasing the booking interval from 21 to 25 days in urban areas and up to 45 days in rural areas and prioritizing sectors for supply.

How To Book LPG Cylinder Online?

There are several methods to book your LPG cylinders via phone call, SMS, WhatsApp booking, Missed Call Booking among others. For online booking, preferrable option is the official application or website of Indian Oil, BPCL and HPCL.

How To Book Indane Gas LPG Cylinder?

SMS/IVRS Booking: Just like the above two methods, you can send "REFILL" or use the IVRS service at 7718955555 for Indane Gas from your registered mobile number.

Missed Call Booking: For Indane, give a missed call to 8454955555 via your registered mobile number to request for a refill.

WhatsApp Booking: From your registered mobile number, send a message titled "REFILL" to 7588888824.

Online Portal: Place your refill requests via the official portal https://cx.indianoil.in

Customer Helpline: Indian Oil's toll-free number is 1800-2333-555 available for feedback and customer support.

Emergency Helpline: However, just in case there is a graver emergency regards to LPG such as leakage or safety emergencies, consumers should contact the national LPG emergency number 1906.

How To Book HP Gas LPG Cylinder Online?

IVRS Service: You can either dial 88888 23456 from your registered mobile number.

Missed Call: Give a missed call on 94936 02222 to order for refill.

WhatsApp: Send a quick "Hi" to 92222 01122 on your WhatsApp. Ensure the message is send through registered mobile number.

Website: Visit the official website www.myhpgas.in to order for refill.

Mobile Apps: You can also opt for refill of your desired HP Gas through applications like UMANG, Amazon Pay, Paytm, PhonePe and other BBPS-enabled apps.

Customer Service Centres: The refill can also be done by visiting the nearby CSC centres for assistance.

How To Book Bharat Gas LPG Cylinder Online?

IVRS Booking Number: Customers can call 7715012345 or 7718012345 from their registered mobile numbers to request for refill.

SMS Booking: Or you can send a message saying 'LPG' to 7715012345 or 7718012345 through your registered mobile number.

WhatsApp Booking: To book your LPG through WhatsApp, you have to first save BPCL Smartline number 1800224344 in your contacts. Then type a 'Hi' or 'Book' to this number on your WhatsApp app for initiating the booking.

Mobile App: You can also install Bharatgas application from Play Store. Log in the app using your registered mobile number and select the option 'Refill Cylinder' for further process.

Other Apps: Apart from BP, you can also book for refill through UMANG app, a government-backed unified app for all gas cylinders.
