LPG Price Today: What is Cooking Gas Rates in Bengaluru Vs Delhi Vs Mumbai Vs Chennai Vs Hyderabad, July 2
At the start of the month, Oil marketing companies announced major revisions in LPG prices that kept domestic LPG cylinder prices unchanged for July 2026, bringing no relief to households across India. However, commercial establishments have reason to cheer as the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders prices have been reduced by up to Rs. 183.50 this month.

Since LPG prices are revised on the first day of every month, the rates applicable on July 2, 2026, remain the same as those announced on July 1 by Indane, Bharat Gas and HP Gas.
Bengaluru LPG Price Today
The 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder price in Bengaluru, remains unchanged at Rs. 944.50. There has been no revision compared to June, meaning households will continue to pay the same amount for cooking gas this month.
Meanwhile, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced to Rs. 3,021, down from Rs. 3,198 in June. The LPG prices saw a Rs. 177 price cut, offering relief to restaurants, hotels and commercial kitchens across the city.
Delhi LPG Price Today
Consumers in Delhi will continue to pay Rs—942 for a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder, with no month-on-month change.
Commercial LPG users, however, have received the biggest reduction among the metro cities. The price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder now stands at Rs. 2,930, down from Rs. 3,113.50 in June, a Rs. 183.50 reduction.
Mumbai LPG Price Today
The domestic LPG cylinder price in Mumbai was similar to june price at Rs. 941.50, and is one of the lowest among the major metro cities.
Commercial consumers will now pay Rs. 2,885.50 for a 19 kg LPG cylinder, down from Rs. 3,067.50 in June. A Rs. 182 reduction provided a welcome relief for businesses.
Chennai LPG Price Today
Households in Chennai will continue to purchase a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder for Rs, 957, with no revision for July.
The 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder price has been reduced to Rs. 3,106, compared to Rs. 3,283 in June.which is down by Rs. 177, benefiting restaurants and commercial establishments across the city.
Hyderabad LPG Price Today
Among the major cities, Hyderabad has the highest domestic LPG price today, with a 14.2 kg cylinder costing Rs. 994. The rate has remained unchanged from June.
Commercial LPG prices have also been revised downward. A 19 kg commercial cylinder now costs Rs. 3,191, down by Rs. 176 from Rs. 3,367 in June.
Will LPG Prices Change Again?
Oil marketing companies revise LPG cylinder prices on the first day of every month. The next revision is expected on August 1, 2026, and will depend on global crude oil prices, international LPG rates and other factors
