LPG Prices From March 1: 19KG LPG Cylinder Prices Hiked By Rs 5.5-6; ATF Prices Revised; Check New Rates

LPG Prices From March 1: The Indian oil marketing companies (OMCs) have hiked LPG prices of 19 kg cylinders by Rs 5.5 to Rs 6 per cylinder since March 1, 2025. The highest increase was seen in cities like Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai. However, prices of jet fuel was also revised for March month. On the other hand, OMCs kept 14.2kg LPG prices unchanged in metro cities.

Despite the latest hike, LPG prices is still cheaper in Mumbai compared to other metro cities, while LPG is expensive and above Rs 1,900 mark in cities like Kolkata and Chennai.

LPG Prices In Delhi: From March 1, 19Kg LPG cylinder is priced at Rs 1,803 compared to the previous month's price of Rs 1,797. The price was hiked by Rs 6 per cylinder.

LPG Prices In Kolkata: Here as well, LPG price was increased by Rs 6 to Rs 1,913 for March compared to the price of Rs 1,907 for the previous month.

LPG Prices in Mumbai: In the financial hub, LPG price was raised by Rs 6 as well. From March 1, 19Kg cylinder is available at Rs 1,755.5 compared to the previous month's price of Rs 1,749.5.

LPG Prices In Chennai: From March 1, a 19kg LPG cylinder is available at Rs 1,965 in Chennai, higher by Rs 5.5 from the previous month's price of Rs 1,959.5.

In February month, Indian Oil, the largest OMC, had trimmed the prices of 19KG LPG cylinders by Rs 4 to Rs 7. This was followed by reduction of Rs 14.5 to Rs 16 across metro cities in January 2025.

However, in the case of 14.2kg cylinders, LPG prices have remain unchanged since August 1, 2024. In February 2025 as well, the 14.2 kg cylinder price is at Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 818.50 in Chennai.

IndianOil recently launched a small (2 Kg) cooking gas cylinder also known as Munna, 2 Kg FTL (Free trade LPG) cylinder, thus making available cooking gas cylinders from corner stores for the convenience of its customers. Munna, a mini cooking gas cylinder has been launched especially for catering to Students, working women, street vendors, migrant population in urban and semi urban areas who do not have local address proof, people with lower gas consumption, and commercial establishments with limited space. Indane LPG is also supplied in bulk to large-volume consumers in the manufacturing and engineering sectors.

ATF Prices:

Jet fuel prices were also revised from March 1, 2025.

In Indian rupees, jet fuel is available at Rs 95,311.72 per KL in Delhi, followed by Rs 97,588.66 per KL in Kolkata, at Rs 89,070.03 per KL in Mumbai, and at Rs 98,567.90 per KL in Chennai.

In dollar terms, ATF prices are at $848.32 per KL in Delhi, followed by $848.32 per KL in Kolkata, at $847.10 per KL in Mumbai, and $843.13 per KL in Chennai.
