Man Infraconstruction Share Price Jumps After Board Approves Buyback of Shares Worth Rs 169 Crore
Shares of Man Infraconstruction Limited rallied during Tuesday's intraday trading session after the company's board of directors, on Wednesday, announced buyback of up to 99 lakh equity shares for an aggregate amount of up to Rs 169.29 crore.

Man Infrastruction's board of directors approved buyback of fully paid-up equity shares with a face value of Rs 2 at a price not exceeding Rs 171 per equity share. The buyback would equate to an aggregate amount of Rs 169.29 crore, as per the BSE filing released on Tuesday, September 1.
The board has "inter alia approved the Buyback of fully paid-up equity shares having a face value of Rs. 2/- (Rupees Two only) each of the Company at a price not exceeding Rs. 171/- (Rupees One Hundred and Seventy One only) per equity share ("Maximum Buyback Price") arid for an aggregate amount not exceeding Rs. 169,29,00,000/- (Rupees -One Hundred and Sixty Nine Crores Twenty Nine Lakhs only) ('.'Maximum Buyback Size")."

At the maximum buyback price and size, the firm will repurchase up to 99 lakh shares, which will account for 3.45% of its existing paid-up equity share capital. Apart from approving the buyback, the board has also constituted a buyback committee and delegated the necessary powers to it to oversee the process.
Man Infraconstruction Share Price Trend
The stock closed 1.45% higher at Rs 124.25 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 5,015.56 crore on Tuesday, September 1. The stock had touched an intraday high of Rs 126.30 per share and an intraday low of Rs 121.60 per share. Its return on equity (ROE) stood at 10.5%. Its share price value has surged 26% in one month and around 16% in six months.
Man Infraconstruction reported a net profit of Rs 59.56 crore in June quarter of financial year 2026-27, against a net profit of Rs 33.35 crore in the March quarter of FY26. Its net revenue stood at Rs 102.72 crore in June quarter and around Rs 64.81 crore in the March quarter of FY26.
