Markets Hit Lower Circuit, Trading Halted For 45 Minutes

With a decline of 10% on the Nifty, the stock markets have hit the lower circuit and with it there shall be no trading for the next 45 minutes.

Nifty has even breached 8700 levels and at the close was at 8624.
