Maruti To Hike Prices Of Vehicles From Jan 2022
Maruti Suzuki today said that the company would increase the prices of vehicles, following an increase in input costs.
"Over the past year, the cost of Company's vehicles continue to be adversely impacted due to increase in various input costs. Therefore, it has become imperative for the Company to pass on some impact of the above additional costs to customers through a price hike. The price rise has been planned in January, 2022. The increase shall vary for different models," the company said in a release to the exchanges.
According to reports, the auto major has already hiked the vehicle prices three times this year -- by 1.4 per cent in January, 1.6 per cent in April and 1.9 per cent in September, taking the total quantum to 4.9 per cent.
