McDonald's restaurants will be open 24/7 for contactless delivery from select stores in Mumbai, according to Westlife Development, which operates McDonald's restaurants in India's southern and western regions.
Shares of Westlife Development ended the day at Rs 425.50 on BSE. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 432 and a low of Rs 416 during the trade.
"In wake of the new restrictions announced to curb the spread of COVID-19 infections in Maharashtra, Westlife Development Ltd owned - McDonald's restaurants will operate 24/7 for contactless McDelivery from select stores in Mumbai," the company said in the BSE filing.

As a result of the state's announcement of new COVID-19 infection restrictions, the brand will be doubling down on its convenience channels of McDelivery, takeaway, and On the Go.
Saurabh Kalra, Chief Operating Officer, McDonald's India West and South said "We support the Government's initiative to contain the pandemic. Through our 24x7 service, we are happy to be able to offer consumers safe, hygienic and delicious food, round the clock."
Furthermore, Westlife Development Ltd recently announced vaccination coverage for all of its 10,000 employees, which includes both corporate office and McDonald's restaurant employees.
