Meta Collaborates with IndiaAI to Propel Open Source AI Innovation and Skill Development in India

Meta has announced a partnership with IndiaAI, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), to boost open-source AI innovation in India. This collaboration includes setting up the Center for Generative AI, Shrijan, at IIT Jodhpur and launching an AI for Skilling and Capacity Building initiative with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The partnership aims to develop indigenous AI applications and enhance AI skills.
