MHADA Lottery Update: Pune Board Extends Application Deadline Again After Server Glitch? Check New Draw Date

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has extended the application submission deadline for its Pune board housing schemes following technical glitches that disrupted the online application process on the final day. The extension affects 4,186 homes under various schemes, originally scheduled to close applications on Thursday, November 30, 2025.

According to reports by Loksatta, applicants encountered persistent technical issues early Thursday morning. Many faced e-signature failures and problems with online payment deposits, which caused MHADA's servers to crash, halting submissions entirely. In response to these challenges, the Pune board announced that the application deadline would be extended to November 30, providing applicants additional time to complete the process.

The Pune board had first announced these housing schemes in September 2025, which included 3,222 homes under a 20% inclusive scheme and 864 homes under a 15% integrated scheme. Initially, applicants were required to submit forms by October 31 using online payment facilities. However, technical issues have plagued the submission process, causing repeated delays and frustration among applicants.

Despite having a modern online application system, reports suggest that recurring server glitches and transaction errors have undermined confidence in the reliability of MHADA's digital platform.

The technical delays have also affected the lottery schedule. The initial deadline was previously extended due to similar issues, pushing the online payment deadline from October 31 to November 20, and RTGS-NEFT payment submissions to November 21. Consequently, the housing lottery draw, originally scheduled for November 21, was rescheduled to December 11.

With the latest extension until November 30, MHADA has announced that the lottery draw scheduled for December 11 will be postponed again, with a revised date to be announced soon.
