Modi 12 Years: Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel Urges Push for Viksit Bharat Goals
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives, flagship projects, and good governance record over 12 years should be used to advance Viksit Bharat and Atmanirbhar Bharat. Speaking at a Bharatiya Janata Party event marking 12 years of the Modi government, Patel cited continued public trust and support.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said the Centre’s programmes from the last 12 years should support the goal of a developed India. Patel spoke at a Bharatiya Janata Party event marking 12 years of the Modi government. Patel linked the effort to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pledges of a Viksit Bharat and an Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Patel said the public’s trust would keep backing Modi’s governance record in coming years. Patel added that the country’s 140 crore citizens had supported the government’s approach so far. Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi and state BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma also attended. The campaign theme was "12 Years of Trust, Development, and Public Welfare\".
Modi government 12 years: Patel on schemes and welfare
Patel said, \"Modi has pledged to build a Viksit Bharat Developed India and an Atmanirbhar Bharat Self-reliant India. We must build a developed India by leveraging the development initiatives, flagship projects, and good governance measures introduced by Modi over the last 12 years,\" Patel said.
Patel said welfare schemes aimed to bring deprived groups into the mainstream. Patel named Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, PM Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, and Ayushman Bharat. Patel said the Centre identified beneficiaries and sent benefits to them directly since 2014. Patel also said the implementation of schemes helped lift 25 crore people out of poverty.
Paying tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Patel said the government focused on tribal development. Patel said efforts covered over 5 crore adivasis across 33,000 villages. Patel added that education and healthcare indicators improved in these areas. Patel also said the government promoted learning about Babasaheb Ambedkar’s life and work.
Modi government 12 years: Patel on security and Article 370
Patel said national security actions showed the strength of what Patel called a New India. Patel cited surgical strikes and airstrikes, along with Operation Sindoor. Patel also referred to the abrogation of Article 370. Patel said this step fulfilled Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s vision of a united and integrated India.
Patel said the political landscape shifted after Modi took office in 2014. Patel said this period created a development-focused style of politics. Patel also said Modi achieved the distinction of the longest tenure in office. Patel added that Modi advanced the Viksit Bharat goal through development, trust, and public welfare.
Patel said Modi received wide acceptance in India and abroad as a leader. Patel said Modi received the highest honours from 32 countries. Patel also said the past 12 years saw extraordinary public support. Patel described this support as strong faith and confidence placed in Modi.
Modi government 12 years: Sanghavi remarks at BJP event
Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi said Modi inspired citizens through patriotism and public service. Sanghavi said the leadership encouraged people to guide their lives in a better direction. Sanghavi also said Modi supported women’s empowerment and leadership. Sanghavi said Modi inspired every section of society and built support beyond votes.
Sanghavi said, \"He is a leader who has governed not merely by securing votes, but by winning the hearts of the people,\" Sanghavi said. Sanghavi also said Modi worked day and night without taking a single day off. Sanghavi called it a 12-year record of continuous service by a Prime Minister.
The BJP event in Gujarat brought together party leaders to highlight the Modi government’s 12-year record. Patel and Sanghavi linked welfare schemes, security actions, and governance measures to national goals. Patel said these efforts should be used to build a developed India. The leaders also pointed to continued public support for the government’s agenda.
