Moneyview IPO GMP Soars 41% On Final Day, Oversubscribed 12X; Should You Grab This IPO Before It Closes?

Investors are going crazy over the Moneyview IPO, which has recorded interest over the three day bidding period. The issue has been oversubscribed 12 times overall, as the grey market activity is hinting at a bumper listing ahead.

Moneyview IPO opened for subscription last week on September 24, and since then the IPO has received huge interest across all investor categories.

So far today, September 28. The issue has received 12.51 times subscription. The Non-Institutional Investor (NII) category led the demand, with the portion subscribed 36.80 times, while the Retail Investor portion was subscribed 9.08 times. Within the NII segment, the bNII category (applications above Rs. 10 lakh) was subscribed 38.30 times, while the sNII category (applications below Rs. 10 lakh) saw 33.80 times subscription. Meanwhile, the QIB portion excluding anchor investors was subscribed 0.28 times.

Overall, investors had placed bids for around 2.81 billion shares against 224.76 million shares on offer, with 21.25 lakh applications recorded so far.

In the Grey market, the Money View IPO was trading with a hefty premium, last recorded at Rs. 14 as of September 28 morning, according to data by Investorgain.. With the IPO's upper price band fixed at Rs. 34 per share, the current GMP indicates an estimated listing price of around Rs. 48 per share with an estimated listing gain of 41.18%.

Moneyview IPO Details

Moneyview IPO is worth Rs. 1,091.68 crores and combines both a fresh issue of 22.06 crore shares worth Rs. 750.00 crores and an offer for sale of 10.05 crore shares worth Rs. 341.68 crores.

The Price band for the issue has been set at Rs. 32 to Rs. 34 per share, and the minimum amount required by an investor to bid is Rs. 14,994 per lot for 441 shares based on the upper price.

Since Today is the last day for IPO bidding, the allotment for the store will be completed on Sep 29, and Moneyview IPO will list on both NSE and BSE on Oct 1st.

Should You Bid?

Out of 12 brokerage reviews of the IPO, 10 have given a positive view and recommended an "Apply" rating.

According to Anand Rathi's review of the IPO, "the company is well-positioned to benefit from increasing digital adoption and the growing penetration of financial services among customers across Middle India. At the upper price band, the company is valued at 24.7x FY26 P/E, 1.79x FY26 P/S, 2.33x FY26 P/B and 2.9x FY26 EV/EBITDA, implying a post-issue market capitalisation of ₹59,848 million."

"The combination of user growth, rising product penetration, improving operating efficiency and a capital-light business model provides visibility for continued growth," the report further added. Based on these factors, the brokerage has assigned a "Subscribe for Long Term" rating to the IPO.
