Muhurat Trading: One-Hour Trading Hour On Oct. 24 For Diwali, See Details

Indian stock markets are going to perform the Muhurat trading tomorrow, Monday, October 24, 2022. BSE and NSE will execute the one-hour Muhurat trading for Diwali. BSE and NSE recently officially stated that the trading hour would begin for several sectors at 6:15 pm and end one hour later at 7:15 pm. The pre-open session starts at 6:00 pm and it will conclude at 6:08 pm. Additionally, the block deal session will be operating from 5:45 pm to 6 pm.

Muhurat trading is known as an auspicious act for investors. The auspicious trading hour takes place to mark the beginning of the new Hindu year, Samvat 2079. It starts on Diwali. On the day of Diwali and Dhanteras, investors buy gold, or metal hoping for a prosperous and fortunate future.

On the last trading day, last Friday, Sensex closed at 59,307.15 points, up by 104.25 points, and Nifty closed at 17,576.30, up marginally.
