Mukesh Ambani Offers Garland Made of Rs 2,000 Notes At Lalbaugcha Raja , Netizens Recalls RBI Denomination

On Tuesday, 19th September, Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani an Indian billionaire businessman and chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Ltd visited Lalbaugcha Raja. During the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration, the Sarvajanik Ganesha idol known as Lalbaugcha Raja is kept up at Lalbaug, a location in Mumbai in the Indian state of Maharashtra. During the 10th day of the auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi, Mukesh Ambani offered garland made of Rs 2,000 notes.

Together with his younger son Anant Ambani, Mukesh Ambani made a visit to the Lalbaugcha Raja. Mukesh Ambani wore a blue kurta-pyjama for the occasion, which he paired with a matching Nehru jacket. Anant Ambani, his younger son, chose a traditional outfit with a maroon colour pattern.

Ambani reportedly travelled to Lalbaugcha Raja with his son, Anant Ambani. Their video, "Cha Raja 2023," was published on Instagram on Monday by the user "mukeshambaniril".

Many Instagram users, however, reacted to Ambani's action in the post's comments section. They remembered that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had recently discontinued the use of Rs 2,000 notes. "Haven't the government banned the notes for Rs 2,000?", an Instagram user commented on the post.

On Tuesday, Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani staged a lavish Ganesh Chaturthi celebration at their Mumbai home, Antilia. Prominent members of the Bollywood, sports, business, and political fellowship attended the festivities. Shah Rukh, the star of "Jawan," was sighted in Antilia with his wife Gauri Khan, his kids Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan, and himself. More Bollywood stars came to the Ambani home for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, including Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shraddha Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, and Vicky Kaushal.

Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty, Riteish, Genelia, Arjun, and Shanaya Kapoor were among the stars that made their way to Antilia for the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Politician Raj Thackeray, former cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Zaheer Khan, and actor Hema Malini also attended the ceremony.
