Multibagger PSU Co Net Profit More Than Doubles, Declares 6.86/Share Dividend

Leading PSU defence sector company, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd on Tuesday reported its net profit surged to Rs 326 crore for the fourth quarter ended March, up 105% as against Rs 159 crore declared in the corresponding quarter of last year. Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd Declares Dividend: According to the BSE filing of the psu company, "Board of directors of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders recommended final dividend of 6.86 per equity share in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 9.10 per equity shares paid earlier for FY 2022-23. The final dividend will be paid with in 30 days from the date of its declaration at the 90th AGM of the company."

Its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) almost tripled to Rs 211 crore as against Rs 77 crore year on year. Meanwhile, EBITDA margins doubled to 10.1% against 5.5% in the corresponding quarter of last year.
