Telugu superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni turns 66 today. He is one of the most loved South Indian actors because of his major influence in Indian cinema. Born on August 29, 1959, in Madras (now Chennai), Nagarjuna is the son of the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Nagarjuna has bagged two National Film Awards, ten Nandi Awards, and three Filmfare Awards South. He is also a successful producer in the Telugu film industry and owns Annapurna Studios. Alongside this, he founded the Annapurna College of Film and Media.
Nagarjuna is married to actress Amala Akkineni, and their son Naga Chaitanya is also a leading Telugu actor.
