Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Announces Rs 2000 Crore Investment in Narmadapuram Renewable Energy Hub

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced a significant investment of Rs 2000 crore in the Narmadapuram region to transform it into a renewable energy hub. During the Regional Industrial Conclave (RIC), Yadav highlighted that the Mohasa-Babai industrial area will spearhead development in the region. The solar energy park's land has expanded from 227 acres to 884 acres, facilitating this growth.

Investment in Narmadapuram Renewable Energy Hub

Yadav distributed land allotment letters for 20 industrial units at the RIC, aiming to boost employment for youth in Sohagpur, Itarsi, Seoni Malwa, Pipariya, and Pachmarhi. This initiative is expected to curb job-related migration from these areas. He emphasised Narmadapuram's potential for industrial growth due to its rich forest resources and excellent connectivity.

Industrial Growth and Land Allotments

The government has offered land to investors at reduced rates, contributing to rapid industrial development in Narmadapuram. Yadav stated that this RIC is the sixth of its kind, following similar events in Ujjain, Jabalpur, Rewa, Gwalior, and Sagar. The region has seen remarkable success in industrialisation within a short period.

Land allotment letters were given to several companies, including Green Energy Private Limited (60 acres), Lands Mill Green Industry Private Limited (70 acres and 18 acres), Lands Mill Renewables Private Limited (30 acres), and Insolation Green Energy Private Limited (45 acres). These allocations aim to foster growth in the renewable energy sector.

Beneficiaries of Land Allotments

Additional recipients of land allotments include Premium Energy Global and Private Limited (50 acres), Satvik Solar Industry Private Limited (50 acres), Suncoin Solar Photovoltaics Private Limited (30 acres), Res Green Energy Manufacturing Private Limited (38 acres), and Elpaxon Solar Limited (30 acres). These companies are set to contribute significantly to the region's industrial landscape.

Other firms receiving land allotment letters were VSNL Green Power Private Limited, Paramount Communication Limited, Taxer Energy Private Limited, Blue Neva Private Limited, Jet Wave Solutions Private Limited, Fra Digm Alfar Capacitors Private Limited, and Gladen Healthcare Private Limited. An official confirmed these allocations are part of efforts to develop the Narmadapuram region further.

The strategic investment and land allocations underscore the government's commitment to making Narmadapuram a key player in renewable energy. This initiative not only promises economic growth but also aims to provide substantial employment opportunities for local communities.
