NBCC Bags Rs. 801.20 Crore Fresh Orders Post Mkt Hours, Shares To Be In Focus On Thursday
State-owned NBCC (India) Ltd, a Navratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has secured fresh domestic work orders worth Rs. 801.20 crore. The biggest order which is valued at Rs. 780.38 crore, has been awarded by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for a major infrastructure project in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.

NBCC Secures Rs. 780.38 Crore RBI Order in Amaravati
As [er the company's exchange filing, The Reserve Bank of India has appointed NBCC as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the construction of its new office and residential complexes in Amaravati. The contract, worth Rs. 780.38 crore, involves the construction of the RBI Office Complex at Nelapadu and the RBI Officers' and Staff Residential Complex at Inavolu.
Another Rs. 20.82 Crore Order From Odisha
Apart from the RBI contract, NBCC has also received a Rs. 20.82 crore, excluding GST, order from the Odisha School Education Programme Authority.
As per the exchange filing, Under this project, the company will undertake the construction of hostels under the DA JGUA Scheme across various districts in Odisha.
With these two projects combined, the total value of NBCC's newly announced domestic orders stands at Rs. 801.20 crore, excluding GST. The RBI project alone contributes over 97% of the total order value,and it is one of the company's most major recent contract wins.
The fresh contracts are expected to improve revenue visibility and provide a steady pipeline of government-backed projects in the coming years.
NBCC Share Price
At the end of trading on Wednesday NBCC shares closed at Rs. 96 per share up by 1.22% for the day. Over the past five days the stock has gained 2.78%.
