Nestle India Special Dividend Alert: Maggi, Nescafe & KitKat Maker to Consider Extra Payout on July 3
Nestle India, one of the country's largest fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies known for household brands such as Maggi noodles, Nescafe coffee, KitKat chocolates, Milkmaid and Cerelac, has turned investor attention towards a possible additional shareholder reward. The company is considering a special dividend from its accumulated retained earnings, a move that could provide an extra payout to eligible shareholders alongside its regular dividend.
Nestle India Board to Consider Special Dividend Proposal Within a Month; Check Recording Date
Nestle India informed stock exchanges that its board of directors will meet on July 3, 2026, to consider the declaration of a special dividend for the financial year 2025-26. The proposed payout, if approved, will be made from the company's retained earnings.

The same day also marks the company's 67th Annual General Meeting (AGM), where shareholders are expected to consider various company matters, including the approval of the final dividend for FY26.
Nestle India Dividend Record Date and Payment Timeline
The company has clarified that the July 10, 2026 record date, which was already announced for identifying shareholders eligible to receive the final dividend for FY26, will also apply to the proposed special dividend, if approved by the board.
In case the special dividend receives approval, shareholders whose names appear in the company's records as on the record date will receive the payment from July 30, 2026, along with the final dividend, subject to the necessary shareholder approvals.
Nestle India Q1 FY27 Results Date Announced
Apart from the dividend-related announcement, Nestle India has also scheduled a board meeting on July 22, 2026, to review and approve its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
The quarterly earnings will provide investors with insights into the performance of the FMCG major across its extensive portfolio of food and beverage products amid changing consumer demand and market conditions.
Trading Window Closure Ahead of Dividend and Results
In line with insider trading regulations, Nestle India announced that the trading window for dealing in the company's securities will remain closed from July 1 to July 24, 2026. The closure period covers the proposed special dividend consideration as well as the announcement of the company's first-quarter financial results.
