Also, as expected Antony Waste Handling Cell made a decent listing with gains of over 38% on debut as against the issue price of Rs. 315.

Sectorally Nifty PSU Bank has been the outlier in trade today gaining over 3% at the close of the session. Also auto stocks gained momentum after posting gains of over 1 percent.

Rupee meanwhile was trading at 73.09 per US dollar and has been the worst Asian currency and the bond markets indeed rallied.

Gold in the futures market gained even as the dollar gained as the spot demand firmed up.

Meanwhile, US indices are likely to start on a positive note as represented by gains on the US stock futures which are up by up to 0.64% on the S&P.
