Nitin Gadkari Launches Annual FASTag Pass via Rajmargyatra App: Know About New Fastag Policy

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, on Wednesday announced the launch of a new Annual FASTag Pass aimed at simplifying toll payments and promoting hassle-free travel on national highways.

The pass can be activated through the Rajmargyatra App, as well as on the official websites of the NHAI and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). A dedicated link for purchasing the pass will be made available shortly.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Rajmargyatra app serves as a comprehensive digital platform, offering real-time information about the country's national highways while also providing an effective grievance redressal system for travellers.

1. Highway Information at Your Fingertips

The app functions as a one-stop digital hub for vital highway-related information. Travellers can access real-time weather updates, view nearby toll plazas, fuel stations, hospitals, restaurants, hotels, and receive timely traffic alerts, making their journey more informed and convenient.

2. Grievance Redressal System
A robust complaint registration and escalation mechanism has been integrated within the app. Users can report issues by submitting geo-tagged photos and videos, allowing for accurate and transparent communication. All complaints will be addressed within a time-bound framework, and in cases of delay, the system automatically escalates issues to higher authorities. Additionally, users can track the real-time status of their complaints, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process.

3. Integrated FASTag Services
The Rajmargyatra app simplifies FASTag management by integrating with multiple banking platforms. Users can recharge FASTags, apply for monthly passes, and access a variety of FASTag-related services all within a single, streamlined interface.
