Noida International Airport (DXN) is set to open a new chapter in India's aviation sector as it officially begins commercial flight operations from next week. Located in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, the much-awaited airport will become a major air travel hub for the National Capital Region (NCR) and western Uttar Pradesh.

The airport, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 28, is the second international airport serving the Delhi-NCR region. With modern infrastructure, advanced passenger facilities, and dedicated cargo operations, the airport is expected to play a crucial role in boosting regional development, tourism, and trade.

The first commercial flight from Noida International Airport will be operated by IndiGo and is scheduled to arrive from Lucknow (LKO) at 08:05 AM on June 15. From its opening day, passengers will have access to a state-of-the-art terminal capable of handling nearly 12 million passengers annually, featuring efficient boarding systems, advanced navigation technology, spacious waiting areas, and modern ground handling facilities.

In the initial phase of operations, Noida International Airport will offer domestic services to five major destinations:
Amritsar
Bengaluru
Hyderabad
Jammu
Navi Mumbai
The airport will commence operations with 140 weekly flights, connecting passengers to multiple destinations across India.
IndiGo & Akasa Air To Operate Flights From Noida
IndiGo will be the largest operator during the launch phase, operating 126 weekly departures from the airport. Akasa Air will contribute 14 weekly flights, while Air India is expected to begin services from Noida International Airport in a later phase.
Noida Airport Cargo Operations to Start from June 17
Along with passenger services, the airport will also enter the cargo segment shortly after its launch. The first cargo flight from Jewar Airport is scheduled to operate on June 17, 2026, strengthening the region's logistics network and enhancing trade connectivity for businesses across North India.
How To Reach Noida's Jewar Airport? Check Connectivity & Transport Facilities
To ensure smooth last-mile connectivity, multiple state transport agencies have planned extensive bus services linking the airport with major cities and transport hubs.
The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will operate buses connecting the airport with Noida, Agra, Mathura, Vrindavan, Meerut, Ghaziabad, and Aligarh.
The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) will deploy electric buses connecting the airport with key points in Delhi, including Kashmere Gate ISBT, Anand Vihar ISBT, and New Delhi Railway Station.
Haryana Roadways will provide services to Gurugram, Faridabad, Chandigarh, Ambala, and other cities, while Uttarakhand Transport Corporation will connect passengers travelling from Dehradun, Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Haldwani.
Further strengthening local connectivity, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has flagged off 45 electric buses for Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) areas.
Noida Airport Parking Charges: Fees for Private and Commercial Vehicles
Passengers arriving at the airport through personal vehicles can use the dedicated parking facilities.
For private vehicles, the parking fee has been fixed at Rs 150 for the first two hours. After that, an additional Rs 100 per hour will be charged, with the maximum parking fee for a full day set at Rs 600.
Commercial vehicles will be charged Rs 200 for the first two hours, while the 24-hour parking fee has been fixed at Rs 700. An additional charge of Rs 100 per hour will apply beyond the initial parking period.
