Noida International Airport redBus partnership expands intercity bus links for passengers

Noida International Airport has partnered with online bus ticketing platform redBus to provide direct intercity bus services from the airport ahead of commercial flights from 15 June. The tie-up offers routes to more than 20 North India destinations, plus digital ticketing, GPS-enabled live tracking, and 24/7 customer support, supported by a dedicated bus boarding area.

Noida International Airport announced a tie-up with online bus ticketing platform redBus on Thursday. The airport said the link will help passengers reach intercity buses directly from the terminal. NIA is preparing to begin commercial flight operations from June 15. The move aims to strengthen last-mile travel options for people using the airport.

Under the arrangement, travellers can book bus trips to and from the airport on the redBus platform. NIA said passengers can use digital ticketing, GPS-enabled live tracking and 24/7 customer support. The airport has also set up a dedicated bus staging area. Ground staff will assist with boarding and de-boarding there.

NIA said the partnership creates direct intercity bus links to over 20 destinations in North India. The list includes Agra, Mathura, Lucknow, Dehradun and Chandigarh. In its statement, NIA called it the first collaboration in India. It involves an airport working with a bus mobility platform.

"At Noida International Airport, we are designing every aspect of the passenger journey with convenience and connectivity in mind,\" NIA Vice Chairman Christoph Schnellmann said. Schnellmann said the tie-up will bring more transport choices into the airport experience. Schnellmann also said it supports NIA’s plan to develop as a multimodal transport hub.

Noida International Airport redBus booking adds services for travellers

RedBus CEO Prakash Sangam said the link will help air travellers reach destinations across the region. Sangam said passengers can travel in a comfortable, reliable and affordable manner. NIA also said better access through public transport remains a key focus. The airport is working towards becoming a major regional hub.

The greenfield airport has been recently inaugurated and is preparing for flight services. NIA said the new bus access is part of wider efforts to improve passenger movement. The airport expects the bus staging area and platform tools to support smoother transfers. NIA said the focus stays on practical connectivity as operations begin.
