Several schools in Noida were evacuated on Thursday after receiving bomb threat emails, triggering emergency security measures and widespread anxiety among students, parents and staff. The incident occurred while Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board examinations were underway, intensifying concerns over student safety.
Bomb Threats To Noida Schools: Students Evacuated, Bomb Disposal Squads Conduct Searches
Officials said around a dozen schools reported receiving similar threatening emails during the day. Following the alerts, teams from the Noida Police rushed to the campuses and initiated standard operating procedures to ensure the safety of students and school personnel.

As a precautionary step, students and teachers were moved out of classrooms and taken to designated safe areas within or outside the school premises. Bomb disposal squads and dog squads conducted thorough searches across classrooms, administrative blocks, playgrounds and surrounding areas.
Fire department teams were also placed on standby at certain locations as part of coordinated emergency preparedness measures. Authorities said detailed checks were carried out in close coordination with school administrations.
"So far, nothing suspicious has been found," a police official said, adding that search operations were ongoing at the time of reporting.
School Exams Temporarily Disrupted
The bomb threats led to temporary disruption of examination-related activities in several schools. With CBSE board exams in progress, the incident caused panic among students appearing for crucial papers.
Parents gathered outside school gates after learning about the evacuations, expressing concern over their children's safety. However, officials reassured them that all necessary security protocols were being strictly followed and that there was no immediate threat detected.
Police stressed that all such threats are treated as serious until proven otherwise.
Similar Bomb Threat Incidents in Noida in Recent Months
The latest development comes amid a series of similar bomb threat emails targeting schools in Noida over the past few months. On 15 February, police arrested six individuals in connection with bomb threat emails sent to nearly 20 schools in the city last month.
Authorities said investigations are underway to trace the origin of the latest emails and identify those responsible. Cyber teams are examining digital trails as part of the probe.
