Nokia 2360 Flip Phone Launched? Check Features, Specifications, Colour Options, Price in India & Availability

HMD is expanding its feature phone portfolio with the Nokia 2360 Flip, a clamshell handset designed for users who prioritise simple communication, safety and ease of use over smartphone features. Targeted at senior citizens and school-going children, the device combines physical buttons and a compact folding design with a dedicated SOS button and remote family support tools.

HMD Nokia 2360 Flip Feature Phone Unveiled: Check Features, Specifications & More

HMD, the company behind Nokia-branded phones, continues to cater to consumers who prefer traditional mobile handsets alongside the wider smartphone market. Unlike budget smartphones that compete on camera quality, processing power and app features, the Nokia 2360 Flip focuses on essential communication and accessible controls.

The phone's clamshell design allows users to fold it shut when not in use, helping protect the main display. It also features physical keys, which may be more comfortable for users who find touchscreen controls difficult to operate.

Nokia 2360 Flip: Family Assist and SOS Button Among Main Highlights

The Nokia 2360 Flip's key differentiator is Family Assist, which lets approved family members manage selected phone functions remotely. These include adding contacts, adjusting volume levels and setting daily reminders without having to handle the handset themselves.

The feature could be useful when an elderly family member needs help updating important numbers or adjusting phone settings. Reminders may also help users keep track of daily routines.

The handset also includes a dedicated SOS button on the back. When pressed, it automatically calls a primary emergency contact and sends an alert message to as many as five saved numbers. This provides a direct way to seek assistance without navigating menus or searching through a contact list.

These safety features could make the phone useful for households that want to keep relatives or children reachable. However, the SOS function depends on compatible cellular network coverage and should not be treated as a guarantee of emergency assistance.
