Now Get JioHotstar Subscription at Only Rs.79; Check New Price List, Benefits and What Changes for Users

JioHotstar has announced a major update to its subscription plans, rolling out nine new subscription options across its Mobile, Super and Premium tiers. The new JioHotstar subscription plans were unveiled on January 18 and will come into effect for new subscribers from January 28.

JioHotstar has introduced monthly plans across all tiers for the first time, which is going to be very flexible for users to choose how they watch content, also for those who don't want to commit to long-term subscriptions. The updated plans also better support multi-device streaming, connected TV viewing, and family consumption.

New JioHotstar Subscription Prices Effective Jan 28

Here is the latest JioHotstar subscription price list for new users:

Mobile Plan

The mobile plan starts atRs. 79 per month, Rs. 149 for three months and Rs. 499 for a year. Under this plan one can watch only on one device and it will come with ads.

Super Plan

Under the Jiohotstar's Super plan users can watch on two devices simultaneously. The price for the begins at Rs. 149 per month and Rs. 349 for 3months and Rs. 1099 for 12 months. This again will come with ads.

Premium Plan

The Premium plan in jio hotstar come with no ads and users can watch on 4 devices at a time. The pricing for this is on the higher end at Rs. 299 Monthly, Rs. 699 Quarterly and Rs. 2,199 Annually. These plans will be available alongside existing quarterly and annual options, giving users more control over short-term and long-term subscriptions.

Hollywood Content Add-on for Mobile Users

Under the new structure, Hollywood content is included by default in the Super and Premium plans. However, Mobile plan users will need to opt for a separate Hollywood add-on if they want access to international movies and series.

Hollywood Add-on Pricing (Mobile Tier)

The Monthly add-on pricing is Rs. 49, Quarterly is Rs. 129, and Annual is Rs. 399

Existing JioHotstar Subscribers Unaffected

JioHotstar clarified that existing subscribers will continue on their current plans without any change in pricing or benefits, provided their auto-renewal remains active. The new pricing structure applies only to new users signing up from January 28.
