Now You Can Book Special Trains Ticket At Post Office
Intending to travel by train as the Indian Railways services resume, here is good news for you as bookings for special trains can also be made at post offices. This is in addition to the facility of train booking available via IRCTC app and portal. So, for all special trains ticket can also be booked through post office.
Also, tickets can also be booked at the PRS or passenger reservation counters at Railway station premises or through IRCTC agents and Yatri Ticket Suvidha Kendra (YTSK) licensees and CSC or common service centers.
Currently originating from New Delhi, the Indian Railways is running 15 pairs of AC passenger trains. Also, the ARP for these trains which was earlier fixed at 7 days has now been extended to a month's time. In addition to these trains, 200 more trains will ply beginning June 1.
The top 5 states and union territories from where maximum trains started are Gujarat (897), Maharashtra (590), Punjab (358), Uttar Pradesh (232) and Delhi (200).
