NSDL e-Gov Infrastructure Rebrand as Protean e-Gov Technologies

India's one of the leading IT-enabled solutions companies, NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Ltd, has rebranded as 'Protean eGov Technologies Ltd.' Protean eGov's new brand reflects the company's aim of being a global leader in ICT and e-Government reform and transformation.

The new brand identity reflects the company's rapid development in its offers to Indian enterprises and residents. Protean eGov's new brand statement, 'Change is growth,' emphasises a culture of creativity, agility, and transparency. Agility, Adaptability, and Assurance will be infused into the brand's DNA.

NSDL or National Security Depository Limited was established in August 1996 as a central securities depository under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Currently, the ministry of finance control and now uses information and communication technology to give public services to the country.

Suresh Sethi, MD and CEO, Protean eGov Technologies Ltd, said, "In line with the rapid adoption of digitalisation and evolution of new business models, we have identified and adopted new service paradigms that leverage shared technology infrastructure, open-source software and interoperable data systems to bolster user-centricity while ensuring digital security. As we evolve, change will be the greatest driver of exponential growth for our customers and us. This identity change is in line with our expanded vision and mission that goes beyond just innovation, to include contributions to changing ecosystems and creating impactful solutions globally that promote ease of living."

Further, he added "Over the last 25 years, the company has extensively collaborated with the government in creating digital public infrastructure and developing innovative citizen-centric e-governance solutions. Going forward, we plan to leverage our experience in implementing large-scale, time-critical and data-intensive projects in diverse sectors, to create population-scale interventions in healthcare, education, skilling, agriculture, e-commerce and mobility."
