Phantom Digital Effects Limited (NSE: PHANTOMFX), one of the market's prominent creative visual effects (VFX) studios, recently announced the initiation of a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) issue with a target raise of up to Rs 60 crores. The QIP opened on Tuesday with a floor price of Rs 268.85 per share, which is 10.27% lower compared to the 299.65 closing price from Monday. July 11, 2025, has been set as the closing date for the QIP.

Initial estimates suggest that capital raised through the QIP will be directed towards bolstering the company's advanced growth plans. PhantomFX plans to greatly increase working capital and infrastructure in order to meet the growing global VFX service needs. GYR Capital Advisors Private Limited is managing the QIP.
"Further, in terms of Regulation 29 of SEBI LODR Regulations 2015, as amended, we wish to inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 inter-alia to consider and decide the issue price, including any discount thereto permitted under SEBI ICDR for the Equity Shares to be allotted to Qualified Institutional Buyers, pursuant to the issue," said Phantom Digital Effects in a stock exchange filing.
PhantomFX is headquartered in India and has a presence in Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad. They have also expanded internationally and have offices and partnerships in the United States, Canada, the UK, China, and Dubai. Recently, they acquired Tippett Studio, an Oscar-winning VFX company located in Berkeley, San Francisco, which further enhances PhantomFX's capabilities and international presence.
With a workforce of over 650 artists, PhantomFX operates within the confines of a secure IT park facility spanning 50,000 sq. ft. in India. The company leverages its proprietary in-house project management tools to enhance workflow efficiency, productivity, and VFX solution delivery. The company also has received a TPN certification which signifies its compliance with international industry security and quality benchmarks.
PhantomFX's clients include those from the film, web series, and advertising industries, as the company provides comprehensive compositing VFX and post-production services. PhantomFX has gained international recognition for its ability to execute intricate and large-scale VFX projects.
PhantomFX is recognized for being one of the earliest companies in India to provide diverse visual effects services. The company has established itself further as a part of the NSE Emerge platform and is using this new opportunity to expand its operational footprint.
With the capital raised through the QIP, PhantomFX is expected to gain greater financing freedom and lead to the company dominating the realm of global digital graphic storytelling for Visual Effects.
