OK Play India Q1 Results: Net Profit Rises 141.67% YoY; Share Zooms 208% In 3 Years

OK Play India Ltd a small cap company in the retail sector has declared its results for the quarter ended 30th June 2024.

OK Play India's net profit increased to Rs 0.87 crore in the quarter that ended in June 2024 from Rs 0.36 crore in the quarter that ended in June 2023, a 141.67% growth. Sales dropped 7.95% from Rs 43.25 crore in Q1FY24 to Rs 39.81 crore in Q1FY25.

Under exceptional items, the company has recorded an exchange fluctuation loss of Rs 0.01 Lacs which has arisen on account of the restatement of liability towards "FCCB" at the end of the quarter.

The Board of Directors of OK Play India announced a stock split of one Rs 10 per equity share into ten of Rs 1 per equity share for its eligible shareholders in order to benefit shareholders and increase share liquidity. The record date on which the corporation kept track of shareholders' eligibility for the stock split issue was March 11.
