Ola Shakti Unveiled: Ola Electric Mobility CEO Bhavish Aggarwal unveiled a multipurpose energy solution product, Ola Shakti, on Thursday, October 16. The device can be used for multiple range of energy storage applications including solar storage, power backup, voltage stabilisation and even portability.

Ola Electric Mobility shares surged after the announcement on Thursday as the Ola Shakti launch conference continued forward. Ola Electric share price was trading 4.41% higher at Rs 54.9 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 24,215.46 crore.

-Ola Shakti energy solution device is a 'Made in India' product which provides multiple solutions related to energy storage, voltage stabilisation and power backup.

-Ola Shakti can provide power backup to double storey house, farm houses for hours, claimed Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal. He also said that the device can provide backup to power hungry devices like air conditioners and even charge EV two wheelers.

-Ola Shakti has nearly 90% efficiency and can last for hours. The device comes with minimal maintenance.

-The device comes in two variants, the lower variant comes with 5.2 kWh battery pack and the higher variant comes with a 9.1kWh battery pack.

-The Ola Shakti device can also be operated with a mobile application.

Ola Shakti Price, Offer, Key Details

Ola Shakti's smallest variant, 1.5kWH and 3kWh will come at a launch price of Rs 39,999 and Rs 69,999 each. The offer price has for the two devices is Rs 29,999 and Rs 55,999.

The second variant with 5.2 kWH battery comes at a launch price of Rs 1,49,999 and an offer price of Rs 1,19,999. The third variant, with a 9.1 kWh battery comes with a launch price ofRs 1,99,999 and an offer price of Rs 1,59,999.

"We wish to inform you that Ola Electric, India's largest pure-play electric vehicle company, will be unveiling the name of its new product in the energy space, titled "Ola Shakti". The launch date, earlier scheduled for October 17, 2025, has now been revised to October 16, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. (IST)," stated Ola Electric in its BSE filing.
