A bank holiday generally means that physical branch services are unavailable, but most digital banking services continue to operate.
Customers can continue to use services such as UPI payments, Mobile banking, Internet banking, ATM withdrawals and other Fund transfers.
However, some transactions and services that require physical processing or branch intervention may be affected by bank holidays.
Customers expecting time-sensitive payments, cheque processing or other branch-dependent services should plan ahead and check the applicable processing timelines with their bank.
