Operation Sindoor: Comed-K Undergraduate Entrance Test 2025 Rescheduled; Date To Be Revised For 13 Cities

Comed-K Under Graduate Entrance Test 2025: Due to ongoing Operation Sindoor, the entrance exam for COMED-K undergraduate has been rescheduled from its earlier date of May 10th. Pakistan has sent a barrage of drones and missiles into India's many northern to northwest cities, creating a blackout. Hence, as a precaution, the dates are revised.

"In line with the directives issued by the Government of India as part of 'Operation Sindoor', the above cities have been directed to close down Educational Institutions and Establishments," Dr S Kumar Executive Secretary of COMEDK said in a statement.


He added, "We wish to inform all students who have been allotted with the above centres for the COMEDK UGET 2025/Uni-GAUGE E 2025 exam which is scheduled to be held on 10th May 2025, Not to be apprehensive or worried."

As much as 13 Cities where examination is postponed are in Gujarat's Jamnagar district, followed by Rajasthan's three districts of Jodhpur, Jodhpur, and Sriganganagar. The test is postponed in the Ambala district of Haryana. In Jammu and Kashmir, tests are postponed in Srinagar and Jammu. The majority of districts where the test is postponed are in Punjab such as Ludhiana, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Mohali, Patiala, and Amritsar.

The exam is deemed postponed to an alternate date for the above centres only, new date will be intimated on the website www.comedk.org. Candidates are directed to check the website regularly for further details, said the secretary.

Lastly, the official statement said that exams will be held as per schedule on Saturday, May 10th in all other centres.
